Please pray for Bonnie’s Brown’s brother Gary as I know he is a lot of pain and has been moved to hospice. Pray that the lord will ease his suffering.
—–My brother Gary Wilson is suffering from colon cancer and not doing too well. He is a wonderful person and the disease is taking it’s toll but not on his spirit. Please pray for him that he may enjoy his last days and allow those who love him to be near and please keep him comfortable. He is a follower and I know he will have peace. Please play for God’s

My nephew, Matthew (my sister’s son), in Columbia, SC, committed suicide this afternoon. He was 25 years old. My sister, Lucy, had not been in contact with him regularly for some time (I believe he was living with his dad). Please keep her and her daughters, as well as his dad, in your prayers.

Rob J, an active Marine, is leaving on Monday to travel to San Diego to undergo 8 weeks of intense training and coursework. Amanda, who is
22 weeks pregnant, will be staying home. Pray that God will watch over Amanda while Rob is gone.
Curtis B has a friend, Kyle, whose father is struggling with cancer.

Kate & Darin B: Prayers for Darin’s continued recovery from burns he sustained in a gas tank explosion at work. He is making an amazing recovery and even his doctors are amazed. He will return to Iowa City in two weeks for a re-evaluation to return to work.
-Bonnie B: The Brown’s friend, Jimmy Everhart, diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. Pray for strength. Our home is up for sale – pray that it sells this time.
-Prayers of healing for Allison P – recovering from a serious staff infection.
-The Higbees – That James & Brian will find a house to rent, and will meet believers who will become friends.
-Teresa K: My friend’s husband was sent to hospice this week.

Hello Prayer Warriors!
I’d like to ask for prayers for my Mom. She’s in the hospital with complications from a surgery she had a couple weeks ago and she isn’t making a lot of improvement – which means she’s miserable right now and the list of complications concerns are growing. I’d appreciate it!

Hi everyone. Please pray for my husband Darin. He was involved in a gas tank explosion at work last Thursday afternoon. He was taken to the Iowa City Burn Center with 2nd and 3rd degree burns to his entire face, ears, neck and left arm. Luckily he has his glasses on and that saved his eyes and by the grace of God he did not inhale anything so he has no lung or internal damage either. He was released Saturday afternoon and we are at home taking care of him. We will return to Iowa City on Thursday for an evaluation to determine if skin grafts are needed. If so, he will have that surgery Friday and will be in the hospital through the weekend. As much as Darin has been through, we found ourselves praying for the other patients on our floor who were clearly dealing with a lot more. We are so Thankful for the outcome in this situation and ask that you also keep the other patients in the burn unit in your prayers this week.

-Billie Jo Jones: My mother, Mary, is still in the hospital. She needs surgery to open up two 80 % blockages in her heart. Her health needs to stabilize so she can have the procedure.
