Fall 2010 Registration Begins soon!
The preschool will begin enrollment for church families and past/present preschool families for the 2010/11 school year beginning Jan. 4 . Open enrollment will begin Feb. 1, so be sure to get your spot reserved in January! Enrollment packets will be available beginning Jan. 4 at the information table or contact Christy at 987-9954 or christy@westview.org.
Westview Church Preschool has been approved at a level 3 for our Quality Rating System!! This is very exciting for us. What this basically means is that we have chosen to participate in the QRS program through the State of Iowa, which is a voluntary program to help guide us to make sure that we are providing the best preschool that we can. The QRS program is based on a 5 star system, with 1 being that the center just meets state regulations, 3-5 programs have earned additional credit for education and experience, training, health and safety compliance, and working with parents. Our teachers have worked very hard over the past year including new ways of doing things in their classrooms as well as spending a lot of hours in training classes, We am very proud of all of them and look forward to continued work in this area! Take a minute to thank our Preschool Director Christy Wellendorf. Christy and all the preschool staff have put a lot of hard work into making WCP one of the leading Preschools in the Metro. We are one of the first preschools in Dallas County to achieve this Quality Rating at level 3.
