Easter@Westview

Join us for Easter Sunday!  April 12, 9:30 and 11:00 am

Easter Sunday is the day when all Christians around the world gather to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus, when he conquered Satan, sin and death. We are offering two worship services on Easter at 9:30 and 11:00 am.  Our Easter worship will be filled with music, scripture, prayer and teaching.  The adult and children’s choirs will sing. Who can you invite to this special celebration of the resurrection of Jesus?

Ask God to bring to your mind those He wants you to invite to our special Easter worship!

Message: “Go tell His Disciples…and Peter.”

There will be no Discovery Hour on Easter Sunday.
We will not be offering Children’s Worship at either service on Easter Sunday due to the extensive musical celebration and additional Easter activities, which will occur during the regular church services.
Nursery will be offered at both services.

Starting the Sunday after Easter we will begin our next worship theme: What Happens When I Die? (and what difference does it make?).  The Bible is clear about much of what will happen to each of us after death.  But then, there is also some mystery involved.  Part of our problem in thinking about heaven and the afterlife, is that we are so influenced by popular notions which are not biblical.  This theme will be based on scripture and will use ideas from the book, Surprised by Hope: Rethinking Heaven, the Resurrection, and the Mission of the Church.
