The Westview Career Transitions Connection is a metro Des Moines group that assists those that are either actively seeking new career opportunities, considering changes in career direction, or have a desire to find more fulfillment in their work and careers. There is no charge to participate and members do not need to belong to Westview church (or any church for that matter).

The group meets each Friday morning at 8:00 a.m. in the Westview church building at 1155 SE Boone Drive, Waukee, IA 50263 (across from the Casey’s General Store on the corner of 156th (Boone Drive) and University).

During each meeting, participants learn practical job search advice/tips from each other and are provided with structured networking opportunities and unstructured networking opportunities as well as emotional and spiritual support. This is a Christ-centered and non-threatening place to share your specific and general concerns about being unemployed or under-employed. We learn together, we connect together, we laugh together, we cry together, and we pray together. While the group is open to everyone, most members are professionals, managers, and executives as these groups are underserved by the Iowa Workforce Development programs. Volunteers that can help those in transition are always welcome.
